The Head of Architecture Office (all genders) leads the enterprise architecture function, ensuring technology decisions and solutions align with business strategy, regulatory requirements, operational needs and technology innovation. 
The role defines and enforces architecture principles, oversees platform evolution, and drives standardization, scalability, and interoperability across all products and services. It is also responsible for the development and maintenance of core frameworks used across products and solutions.
The Head of Architecture Office (all genders) works closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to define robust, future-proof technical solutions for capital markets and payment products and customer specific solutions.

Architecture Strategy & Governance

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, principles, and standards and governance
• Align architecture decisions with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks
• Conduct architecture reviews and approve major technology and platform decisions
• Ensure all engineering initiatives adhere to the defined architecture and platform standards

Technical Leadership

• Guide the design of scalable, high-performance, secure, and resilient systems
• Identify and drive platform modernization, cloud adoption, and technology innovation initiatives
• Partner with engineering teams to review technical designs and ensure long-term maintainability and scalability

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, Security, and Operations to ensure consistent, high-quality technical solutions
• Advise leadership on technical risks, trade-offs, and emerging technologies
• Facilitate architectural alignment across multiple product teams and business units

Standards, Tools & Documentation

• Establish and maintain a repository of architectural artifacts, design patterns, and technology standards
• Promote reusable components, shared services, and modular architectures
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, security standards, and audit requirements

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop a team of product and solution architects
• Build a culture of architectural excellence, technical mentorship, and innovation
• Drive adoption of architecture best practices across engineering teams

What distinguishes you

• 10+ years of software engineering or architecture experience, with at least 5 years in enterprise architecture leadership in a highly regulated market
• Experience in FinTech, capital markets, payments
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, event-driven systems, and integration patterns
• Expertise in architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.) and architecture governance practices
• Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
