Effective Field

The PMO Associate (all genders) provides operational and administrative support to the customer facing project teams. This role maintains project documentation, tracks progress, reports activities, status reports and ensures compliance with the valantic project management standards and processes. The PMO Associate (all genders) works closely with the (technical) Team Lead, team members, and delivery manager to help deliver projects successfully and efficiently and ensure the appropriate level of reporting both internally and to the customer.

Project Support

  • Assist the Team Lead with project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination. 
  • Maintain project documentation including charters, plans, risk logs and meeting notes.
  • Support the preparation of project kickoff, review sessions, Steering Committees and Status Reporting 

Monitoring & Reporting 

  • Track project progresses against timelines, budgets and deliverables.
  • Collect and consolidate project data for portfolio-level reporting.
  • Prepare regular status updates, dashboards and presentations for stakeholders. 

Governance & Compliance 

  • Ensure adherence to PMO processes, templates, and standards.
  • Support audits, quality checks and compliance reviews.
  • Help identify risks and issues, escalating when needed. 

Communication & Coordination 

  • Act as a liaison between project teams and the PMO department.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops and reporting cycles.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and lessons learned across projects. 

Continuous Improvement 

  • Suggest process improvements to enhance project efficiency.
  • Contribute to updating PMO templates, tools and best practices. 

What distinguishes you

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Basic experience in project support, coordination, or administration. 
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid). 
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Fluent in English and Spanish ; German and Czech advantageous
