• Ensuring comprehensive implementation of strategic tools for vulnerability and malware detection
• Evaluation, statistical processing, and reporting of scan results
• Planning and implementation of measures to reduce or eliminate vulnerabilities
• Monitoring of security events and continuous analysis of security events
• Evaluating log files with regard to possible attack patterns and specifying preventive measures
• Continuously analyzing network security and evaluating anomalies
• Planning and optimizing processes for handling IT security incidents
• Further developing SIEM and established use cases
• Specification of new use cases based on findings for optimizing monitoring mechanisms
• Risk preparation, tracking, and reporting
• Specification, further development, support, and reporting regarding measures for data loss prevention/data leakage prevention (DLP)

What distinguishes you

• Several years of professional experience and technical knowledge in IT and cybersecurity, ideally in a similar position
• Hands-on experience with security tools (SIEM systems, IDS/IPS, firewalls, antivirus software, vulnerability scanners)
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of data
• Regulatory knowledge, for example in relation to the GDPR
• Structured way of working
• High adaptability to changes in threat situations or the tool landscape
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent in written and spoken German and English
