Senior Application Developer (all genders)

We are looking for skilled application developers (all genders) with expertise in low-code development to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining applications using our X-Gen low-code platform, streamlining development processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. You can find further tasks here:

• You will work with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements for our payment application suite
• You design and develop new features and functionality for our payments suite to improve user experience and transaction processing
• You customize our payment application suite and integrate it into customer environments
• You support the maintenance of the existing code and revise or improve the existing code
• You troubleshoot and resolve payment-related issues in close collaboration with technical support teams
• You develop and implement unit tests
• You ensure the security and compliance of payment processing systems, including adhering to industry standards and regulations

What distinguishes you

MUST HAVE

• Study or training in computer science, engineering, natural sciences or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in application development
• In-depth knowledge of web technologies such as HTTP REST, SOAP, XML and JSON
• Ability to work with tools like SVN, Git, JIRA
• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL/Oracle)
• Knowledge of Javascript and/or TCL
• Confident use of shell scripting (Bash / Unix)
• Fluent English skills
• Analytical thinking; structured and targeted approach
• Willingness to work in an innovative and international team
• Strong customer and service orientation

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Sencha ExtJS web development framework
• Knowledge of specific processes in the financial industry, ideally in payment transactions
• Familiarity with payment processing protocols such as ISO 20022.
• Fluent knowledge of German or Spanish
