Senior Business Analyst Calypso (all genders)

Effective Field

• As part of the technical run team, you will look after the client`s trading system (Calypso) and ensure trouble-free use
• You will work closely with both dealers and quantitative analysts on the client side and be the first point of contact for monitoring, problem analysis and troubleshooting in day-to-day operations
• Testing and maintenance of the system will also be part of your tasks
• In addition, you will continuously develop the system to align it even more closely with the requirements of the users
• Features designed by you make configuring, maintaining and using the system easier and better
• You also see yourself as a consultant when you present possible solutions and workarounds to the customer

What distinguishes you

MUST HAVE

• Your training has a technical or financial focus, e.g. in the field of mathematics, physics, computer science or finance/economics
• You habe several years of experience with software solutions in the field of derivatives trading, are familiar with basic financial market products
• You have gained project experience in the adaption, implementation and further development if systems and processes in the industry
• You will learn quickly and acquire the necessary expertise with commitment and quickly
• You have the folowing technical skills: Knowlege of Linux, SQL, databases with focus on data analysis
• You enjoy working in a team, your way of working is conscientious and you like to go into detail
• Even on hectic working days, you act calmly and decisively
• You communicate fluently in English and German, your appearance is confident and binding

NICE TO HAVE

• Eytensive experience with trading systems such as Calypso, Murex or similar is an advantage
• Ideally, you habe experience with Java and understand infrastructural and architectual implications for the operation of larger (Java) applications
