Head of Client Project Implementation, Europa (all genders)

valantic FSA is looking for a Head of Client Project Implementation (all genders) who has extensive experience with electronic trading systems, including trading systems, architecture, end users, and markets. Comprehensive knowledge of the markets for fixed-income securities between traders and between traders and clients in the areas of interest rates (Govies and swaps) and loans is required.

As part of the electronic trading management team, the Head of Project Implementation (all genders) will oversee all implementations of new client projects and report to the Head of Electronic Trading.

• You are responsible for implementing new customer projects at valantic FSA and ensuring that the projects are carried out within the agreed time frame.
• You have a practical approach and are willing to roll up your sleeves and get involved in project implementation when necessary.
• You actively identify risks early on during the platform rollout and work with technical managers and product managers to eliminate them.
• You create a monthly project overview of all active projects.
• You act as an escalation point for customer projects and conduct regular meetings and checks with customers to ensure that expectations are met.
• Collaborate with the broader team (engineering, product, SaaS) to identify opportunities to further automate the platform delivery process.
• Coordinate monthly with accounting to ensure that project delays (or accelerated deployments) are reflected in ET finances.
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to identify, resolve, and close new business opportunities during projects.
• Contribute to the product roadmap and assist in developing strategies for global product expansion.
• You have a clear understanding of the market and competitive landscape and provide insights and updates to close gaps in the valantic FSA product line and continuously improve the product ahead of the competition.
• Attract and recruit top talent, motivate the team, delegate effectively, and manage performance.

What distinguishes you

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in a field related to computer science/engineering/mathematics
• Excellent business and technical knowledge of sell-side electronic trading in fixed-income securities, D2D and D2C markets, and workflows in the areas of interest rates, loans, and swaps.
• Ability to communicate credibly and professionally with our customers and prospects at the senior level
• Proven experience in capturing project requirements and successfully implementing trading platforms.
• Ability to quickly process new information and keep pace with developments in the market ecosystem. The role requires building comprehensive knowledge of the valantic platform.
• Strong willingness to cooperate and ability to work with local and external teams
• Strong presentation skills

Experience

• At least 7 years of experience in senior project and product roles, preferably with a vendor with practical experience in software implementation
• At least 7 years of experience with the front office and end users of FI eTrading solutions, including demonstrating solutions to existing and potential customers.
• Engagement at the level of CTO / CEO / Head of Desk / Head of Business / Head of Technology.
